Before sending a notice
Consider whether you own or are authorized to act for the right, whether the use is licensed, and whether an exception such as fair dealing or fair use may apply. False or abusive notices may create legal liability.
Required notice
Submit through /feedback with the rights category. Identify the protected work, the exact Facily URL for each allegedly infringing item, your contact information, a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized, a statement that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act, and your electronic signature.
Action and counter-notice
Facily may disable access while reviewing a sufficiently complete notice and will notify the uploader when permitted. An uploader may respond through /feedback with the removed URL, explanation and legal basis, contact information, required good-faith statements, and electronic signature. Restoration depends on applicable law, risk, and any court process.
Repeat infringement and other rights
Facily may restrict or terminate repeat infringers after considering valid notices, successful counter-notices, and abuse. Trademark, privacy, publicity, and impersonation complaints may use the same form with the relevant right and evidence.
